Project Ownership Policy within the Niro Team Framework

Policy Statement:

This policy establishes the framework for the transfer of full ownership of any project operating under Project Niro's comprehensive umbrella of projects. The objective is to ensure a systematic and appropriate process for the transition of project ownership.

Ownership Transfer Process:

  1. Initiation: The current project owner or responsible entity must initiate the ownership transfer process. This initiation signifies the intent to relinquish ownership and triggers the subsequent steps outlined in this policy.
  2. Documentation: The initiating party is required to provide comprehensive documentation outlining the scope, objectives, and pertinent details of the project. This documentation serves as a reference for the incoming owner and facilitates a smooth transition.
  3. Evaluation: The Niro Team oversight committee will conduct a thorough evaluation of the project and the provided documentation. This assessment aims to ensure that the project is in a suitable state for the transfer of ownership and that the receiving party has the requisite capabilities to sustain and enhance the project's goals.
  4. Approval: Upon successful evaluation, the ownership transfer proposal will be submitted to the relevant authorities for approval. Approval will be granted based on alignment with Niro Team's overarching objectives and the demonstrated capacity of the receiving party to effectively manage and develop the project.
  5. Notification: Once approved, all stakeholders involved in or affected by the project will be duly notified of the impending ownership transfer. This includes team members, collaborators, and any other relevant parties.
  6. Transition Period: A defined transition period will be established, during which the outgoing and incoming owners will collaborate to ensure a seamless handover. This collaboration may include knowledge transfer, documentation review, and any necessary training sessions.
  7. Formalization: The ownership transfer will be formalized through legal and administrative processes, updating records to reflect the change in ownership. All necessary contracts, agreements, and intellectual property rights will be appropriately transferred to the new owner.
  8. Post-Transfer Evaluation: A post-transfer assessment will be conducted to ascertain the effectiveness of the ownership transition. This evaluation will help identify any areas for improvement in the ownership transfer process for future projects.

Community Platforms Exception:

For social community platforms (such as Discord), a transfer of the ownership of the community is all that is required to effectuate the ownership transfer. The outlined steps for project ownership transition are not applicable in this specific context.

Compliance:

All projects under Niro Team's umbrella must adhere to this ownership transfer policy. Non-compliance may result in a delay or denial of ownership transfer approval.

This policy ensures a structured and transparent approach to project ownership transitions, fostering continuity and success within the Niro Team ecosystem.
